Eventbase Technology is committed to ensuring digital accessibility for all users, regardless of ability. We continually improve the user experience for everyone by applying relevant accessibility standards.
Measures to support accessibility
We take the following measures to ensure accessibility of our platforms:

Conformance status
The Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) defines requirements for designers and developers to improve accessibility for people with disabilities. It defines three levels of conformance: Level A, Level AA, and Level AAA. The Eventbase Website is compliant with WCAG 2 Level A, and our Mobile App is partially compliant. We are committed to making continuous improvements and updates to ensure a seamless experience for all users.
Website
Our Website is based on the Wix platform, which includes built-in accessibility features. Additionally, we have achieved a perfect score of 100 on the Lighthouse accessibility audit conducted with Chrome Developer Tools.
Mobile App
For our Mobile App, we aim to align with the latest accessibility standards. All new features meet WCAG 2 guidelines, and we are actively working to bring the remaining portions of our app into compliance.
European Accessibility Act (EAA)
The European Accessibility Act (EAA) will take effect in June 2025. The products and services covered by the Act (Chapter 1 - Article 2) include the following:

ATMs, ticketing, check-in machines, and interactive information-providing terminals

TV equipment related to digital television services

Telephony services and related equipment

Access to audio-visual media services (television broadcast and related consumer equipment)

E-commerce (websites or apps through which companies sell their products or services online)
The Eventbase Mobile App does not fall under the categories listed above, nor do we provide an e-commerce service. The EAA defines e-commerce services as: “services provided at a distance, through websites and mobile device-based services by electronic means and at the individual request of a consumer with a view to concluding a consumer contract.”
After consulting with our accessibility specialist, we confirm that Eventbase is not required to comply with the European Accessibility Act.
Finally please note that the directive also does not apply to:

Pre-recorded time-based media published before 28 June 2025;

Office file formats published before 28 June 2025;

Online maps and mapping services, if essential information is provided in an accessible digital manner for maps intended for navigational use

Third-party content that is neither funded, developed by, or under the control of, the economic operator concerned;

Content of websites and mobile applications qualifying as archives, meaning that they only contain content that is not updated or edited after 28 June 2025.
