The leadership team at Eventbase is expanding as the company prepares for a new phase of growth fuelled by innovation across its industry-leading live event technology platform.
Bringing her decades of tech company experience to the role of Chief Financial Officer, Jennifer Carr will be overseeing the newly expanded finance team at Eventbase. She was most recently CFO at a Canadian AI startup and was previously Vice President of Finance at Checkfront, a cloud-based booking management system for tour operators, rental companies and accommodation providers. Before that, Jennifer served 8 years as Vice President of Finance & Accounting at a leading CPA affiliate network, Neverblue. She holds a business administration degree and a CPA, CA designation.
Jennifer will be focused on strategic growth initiatives to scale the business as it brings innovative new event technology products to market.

Leadership Team Expansion
In addition to a new CFO, Eventbase has promoted two members of its leadership team and added a new member.
Vincent Cauwet has been promoted to the role of Chief Operating Officer, and is taking ownership of the Eventbase Product Team. After joining Eventbase in 2016, Vincent has had a wide range of responsibilities including overseeing the entire Delivery Team and introducing agile product management processes. He was previously Director of Production at a digital product incubator, Invoke. He holds a Master's Degree in Information Technology.
JJ Mumick has also been promoted to Chief Revenue Officer. Joining the company in 2014, he began as a producer, overseeing the creation of mobile apps for some of the biggest events in the world. He went on to oversee the Delivery Team, then the Eventbase Sales Team as well as Solutions and other functions. JJ holds a Computer Science Degree from The University of British Columbia.
Finally, Sophie Donnison has been promoted to Vice President of Customer Experience. She joined Eventbase in 2018 in the Delivery Team, supporting customers at large scale events. She worked as a Producer Lead then managed the Delivery Team, rapidly scaling that team after the pandemic. Sophie brings over a decade of diverse experience in the digital space, with expertise spanning project management, customer experience and digital consulting. Her experience prior to Eventbase includes working as a Senior Consultant at EY (Ernst & Young), where she honed her skills in delivering strategic solutions for complex business challenges. She holds a Commerce Degree, Information Systems and Management.
